Our 8th graders recently dove into George Ella Lyon’s classic poem, "Where I’m From." They analyzed sensory details and imagery, then dug deep into their own childhood memories to craft original, personal poems.
To bring it all together, their teacher gathered one special line from each student to create this powerful class compilation. This beautiful poem is a snapshot of who our students are and where they come from.
